A song based on a park in Littleton, Colorado which led to the creation and initial inspiration of music from Robyn's band, The Lavellas, who were birthed in Denver in the year 1999 and consisted of former band members, Matt Amundson (Drums), and Mike McDaniel (Bass Guitar). Co-founder of the group and dear friend of Robyn, Jason Mathews, composed a lot of the band's music in wonderland park and the primary band line-up until their move from Denver to Chicago, IL in 2003 included members Spencer Kiss (Drums and synths) and Cory Campbell (Bass guitar and effects). With the departure of Cory in 2004 during their third record, Distortion Story's recording sessions, the Lavellas settled on their present line-up as a space rock trio consisting of Robyn, Jason, and Spencer. Wonderland park always remained a primary point of interest and musical inspiration for Robyn.
lyrics
There are many ways to sunset, there are many ways to dawn, but you know I'll be gone when the sun comes up. There are many ways to cunt them, there are many moons apart, but you know I'll be gone when the sun comes up. I wanna fall into a wonderland park dream, and if you follow, you may never be the same. There are many ways to satan, there are many ways to god, but you know I'll be gone, don't give a fuck. 'Cause I wanna fall into a wonderland park dream and if you follow, you may never be the same...
